Objective
Regency Lighting, a full-service lighting design, distribution and maintenance firm for the retail industry sought to upgrade their brand presence and visibility at trade shows. Their first criteria was move from a 10x20 booth that emphasized product display to a 20x20 booth space that better communicated their company’s offerings and brand quality. A contemporary yet conservative architectural feel was desired along with specific criteria such as computer workstations, an informal lounge area with integrated white board, flat screen capability, interchangeable graphic displays and corporate ID at maximum height, lightweight construction, and 10x20 reconfiguration.

Solution
e4’s design team carefully considered the client’s objectives and ultimately met their expectations with an extruded aluminum structural design with modern, clean lines and warm cherry wood accents to impart the conservative element they desired. A 12’ wide by 4’ high tension-fabric structure was placed at a height of 16’ to communicate their corporate ID across the exhibit hall. Strategically placed graphics were integrated into the structure and the center of the space served as an informal lounge area for white board or flat screen presentations. Counters with accommodations for computer equipment were placed at the four corners of the booth space to facilitate interaction between booth staff and show attendees.
Result
The exhibit communicated not only Regency Lighting’s core product and service offerings but also their brand quality. Structurally, the design proved to be inviting, stimulated curiosity from attendees, and ultimately attracted the national retail chains that Regency Lighting sought as clients.
